Sleek, smooth and sensual, the brand new motor yacht Riva 76′ coupé project has been unveiled over the weekend by the Italian shipyard RIVA. The yacht is currently in the works at Ferretti Group’s facility from La Spezia and it’s scheduled to make its official debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival this September.
The new, sporty and stylish yacht from RIVA’s fleet has been designed by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta from Officina Italiana Design together several departments from the Ferretti Group.
The 22,98 m long (75’5″) vessel will be finished in a wonderful new shade of metal silver, called “Moon Grey”, mixed with Riva’s classical dark shade “Bright Black” which defines the stylish shapes and volumes of this yacht. The sporty look is further highlighted by over 40 square meters of glazed surfaces, which make this yacht ooze with elegance.
Riva Yachts was always an ambassador of Italian beauty, technology and unrivalled style and this new contemporary coupé is just another example of their extraordinary styling and workmanship. The interior decor is extremely refined and boasts the brand’s traditional materials, fine woods, leather, stainless steel, marble, mixed with lacquered and mirrored surfaces.
The Riva 76’ coupé comes with 3 deluxe cabins, each of them with a private bathroom. The master suite is located amindships and features a walk-in wardrobe, a master bathrooms, a cabinet and even a relaxation area. There’s also a VIP cabin for special guests with a double wardrobe, an ensuite bathroom with separate shower and a guest cabin with two single beds.
The main deck of the yacht has a gorgeous dining area which can host up to 8 people, with an L shaped sofa, a glass table and four Paltrona Frau chairs. The airy, open space will make you feel incredible and on the starboard side there’s also a large living area with a sofa and a coffee table.
The sun deck of this modern coupe yacht is also extremely appealing, with a seating area in the center, a C shaped sofa forwards and an aft sofa that can be turned into a sunbathing area if the future owner wants to. There’s also a nice dining table and an L-shaped sofa at the starboard of the sun deck.
In terms of performances, the Riva 76’ coupé is pretty fast, powered by twin V-drive MAN12 diesel engines which are able to produce 1,550 MHP. That’s more than enough for top speeds of up to 33 knots or cruising speeds of 29 knots but if you want even more speed you could go for petrol MAN V12 engines, producing 1800 MHP. These can take the yacht to a top speed of 37 knots and a cruising speed of 32 knots.
