Swiss watchmaker Zenith is launching the new El Primero Chronomaster 1969 as a tribute to both the legendary rock group Rolling Stones, as well as the El Primero movement launched by the company in 1969.

This astounding watch comes with a 42mm steel case with two chronograph counters: a 30-minute at 3 o’clock and a 12-hour at 6 o’clock. As a decorative touch that’s also an homage to the Rolling Stones, the iconic tongue and lip logo appears on the 12-hour chronograph register. At the heart of the timepiece there’s the El Primero 4061 movement, the world’s most accurate mass-produced mechanical caliber, beating at a frequency of 10 bibrations per second and timing to one tenths of a second.

The Rolling Stones expressed great satisfaction with the collaboration, which is just in time for their 14 On Fire global tour.

Zenith announced that this watch will be the first in a series of limited edition watches created in collaboration with the British band, further stating that only 250 El Primero Chronomaster 1969 Tribute to the Rolling Stones timepieces will be manufactured.
