I think it’s safe to say we’ve all dreamed of driving an American muscle car and the Dodge Challenger is definitely one of the best right now. But Dodge wanted to make it even better and they’ve came up with a special edition of their renowned Challenger, named Rallye Redline, that will surely make your day.
The car boasts a renewed look and draws power from a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 motor, which delivers as high as 305 HP and 227 kW, plus 363 Nm (268 lb ft) of torque. The vehicle sports a brand new suspension, being well equipped for tracks, a 3.06:1 rear axle ratio and 52.4 / 47.6 front/rear weight distribution.
The power gets to the wheels via a 5-speed Auto Stick transmission, controlled with die-cast zinc paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel. Regarding the new suspension, it boasts 22% stiffer rear monotube shocks, large 1.18-inch (30 mm) front and 0.78-inch (20 mm) rear-sway bars and 42% stronger front shocks.
In terms of looks, the car sports a black exterior paintjob with red accents, the manufacturer adding a set of 20-inch alloy wheels. The interior presents the customer with Radar Red leather-covered front seating. This Dodge Challenger Rallye Redline can be bought for a price of MSRP $28,745 and will be available starting the next month.
