Corum will easily take over your imagination this evening, with the Swiss watchmaker having revealed not one, but two stunning watches for us to drool over, called the Admiral Legend 42 and the Admiral Legend 42 Chronograph. Let’s take them one by one…
First, the Corum Admiral Legend 42 shows off a 42 mm dodecagonal case, along with an AR-coated sapphire crystal and the capability to handle up to 50 meter deep waters. Movement is provided by the Swiss automatic Corum caliber CO395, with 27 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve backing everything up for as long as 42 hours.
The dial may be enjoyed in either blue or white, with transferred nautical flags and skeletonized gold-plated or rhodiumed hands. As a finishing touch, the Swiss brand went for a 21 mm black or blue alligator leather strap for this exquisite timepiece, with a steel folding clasp.
Moving on to the next feature, the Corum Admiral Legend 42 Chronograph benefits from a 42 mm dodecagonal case as well. The AR-coated sapphire crystal is still there, while future owners of this watch can only dive 30-meter deep waters. It might be worth mentioning that the bezel, pushers and crown are crafted out of 18kt red gold or stainless steel.
Movement is provided by the Swiss automatic Corum caliber CO 984, with 37 jewels, 28,800 vph and yet again 42 hours worth of power reserve. The dial can feature the same design choices and options, and the same goes for the strap. We’re sorry we can’t clarify the difference in costs, because we don’t have any official numbers, all we know is that we want both of these timepieces!
