Voted as the best women’s watch on the occasion of the 2012 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, the Chanel Premiere Flying Tourbillion is now knowing a comeback, in the form of its 2013 edition.

The luxury brand from Paris is now introducing two brand new versions of the watch at the Baselworld 2013. The timepieces are reportedly designed by expert Swiss watchmakers Renaud & Papi for the renowned French brand, presenting themselves with an octagonal design inspired by the Chanel No. 5 perfume bottle stopper.

The dials of the watches are adorned with diamonds in the form of camellia motifs, in order to serve as a tribute to the founder of Chanel. The hours and minutes hands, off-center-positioned, are further garnished with superbly cut diamonds, upon a black ceramic dial, alongside an 18-carat white gold case. The bezel is embellished with baguette-cut, round diamonds or precious stones. In addition, Chanel provides customers with the option to choose from an 18-carat white gold case garnished 39 blue or pink sapphires.

The most recent Premiere Flying Tourbillion with blue or pink sapphires is a limited edition timepiece and will only be manufactured in 5 units of each type.
