Bristol Cars has been founded exactly 71 years ago, and about 5 years ago the British manufacturer of hand-built luxury cars has been rescued from bankruptcy – a good deed, for sure. As such, everyone was expecting to see new things coming from this company, and this vehicle will surely get a lot of attention.

The new Bristol Bullet is a hardcore speedster, featuring a charming carbon-fiber bodywork and hiding a BMW engine under its stylish exterior. Dubbed as the Hercules, the 4.8-liter V8 engine has been tweaked in-house to develop 370 hp and the same amount of torque – an interesting balance, some would say.

And since the Bullet only weighs short of 2,500 pounds, the British speedster will do 0 62 mph (100 km/h)  in 3.8 seconds and max out at a limited 155 mph.

It all sounds fast and performance-oriented, but the Bristol Bullet was also designed tshow off various luxury features and high-technology. The multi-touch screen in the dashboard, with digital radio, smartphone connectivity, Bluetooth and WiFi, seems to contrast beautifully with the classic exterior of this sportscar.

On the other hand, the seats were hand-trimmed in British hides, with customers having the option of ordering their dashboard in either wood or carbon fiber. It seems that the new management team understands the true value of the brand and it’s working hard on keeping the British sports car alive for as long as possible – good news, to be sure.
