Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera has unveiled the new Berlinetta Lusso, a very impressive creation based on the Ferrari F12berlinetta.
While developing the exterior of the project, the Italian company has also drawn its inspiration from the 1966 Ferrari 166 MM Touring. The interior, on the other hand, seems to be mostly unchanged, with the exception of the custom new upholstery and trims.
No information have been revealed regarding the car’s engine, which suggests the Berlinetta Lusso comes with the same 6.2-liter V12 as the standard F12. Nevertheless, performance shouldn’t be an issue, since the supercar’s stock powerplant already boasts an output of 730hp (740PS) and 690Nm (509 lb-ft), and a top speed exceeding 220 mph (350 km/h).
Created for a private collector who has chosen to remain anonymous, the Berlinetta Lusso is set to make its debut during the Geneva Motor Show. Only five units are to be built in total by Touring Superleggera, a process which, according to the coachbuilder, takes about 5,000 man hours for each car.
