X2 Samui – A Tranquil Retreat on Thailand’s Koh Samui

X2 (pronounced Cross To) is one of Thailand’s leading resort chains and at the X2 Samui you get a sense of why that is.

Located on the country’s second largest island and one of its main tourist destinations, Koh Samui, the area around X2 Samui is mostly underdeveloped, giving a sense of secludedness and privacy. Travelers are welcome to stay in the resort’s 27 villas, most of which have private swimming pools and outside areas. The staff is helpful, yet discrete, further adding to the place’s private atmosphere.

Koh Samui isn’t such a popular place for nothing – there are picture-perfect white sandy beaches, clear blue waters and a beautiful landscape to enjoy. You can also get souvenirs from the many street vendors around, or try out some Thai cuisine in one of the island’s many restaurants – 4K being one of the highlights.
