There are plenty of glamorous, highly exclusive watches out there, but few are quite as cool as Urwerk’s latest masterpiece, the UR-110 EastWood.
This most recent iteration of the award-winning UR-110 design is truly in a class of its own. It is made using high-end materials never before seen in a wristwatch, like Indonesian macassar ebony or South African red ivory (for the bezel), while the strap is fashioned from the finest wool tweed, as selected by the celebrated Welsh bespoke tailor Timothy Everest. The 47mm grade 5 titanium case houses the Swiss automatic Urwerk in-house caliber UR 9.01 with 46 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 39 hours.
Another remarkable feature is the fact that the time is indicated on the right side of the watch, as three hour satellites follow a vertically arced line, graded from 0 to 60 minutes, in a downward motion. Finally, much of the inner workings of this beautiful timepiece are visible through the large panoramic sapphire crystal.
