Annie Leibovitz teamed up with the Macallan for the latest Masters of Photography, having captured Kevin McKidd in 4 fantastic images shot in and around New York City in dramatic poses.
The same Kevin McKidd will reportedly feature on the current series partially because he looks ruggedly masculine and partially for his history alongside Macallan. He has spent part of his childhood just a few miles away from the fabled distillery, and has even spent some time working there during his young ages.
The Master of Photography series sports 1,000 limited edition bottles in 4 different versions. Every bottle uses the one of the 4 first time-released single cask variants, presented in a state of the art photo-archival box, imprinted with the Macallan brand and the name of Annie Leibovitz.
Celebrating the year when Annie Leibovitz was born, there will additionally be released 4 individually customized bottles of Macallan 1949, part of the Fine and Rare Collection. These bottles will be available for $25,000 alongside a uniquely signed gallery print, after a world exhibition tour through New York, Hong Kong and Moscow.
The limited edition Macallan Masters of Photography Annie Leibovitz has been made available since May 2012, each bottle being priced at $2,750.
