Bringing the ravishing Ducati performance bikes from the racetrack straight onto the road, the Ducati Monster Stripe Series includes two powerful models, the ‘Monster 821 stripe’ and the wicked ‘Monster 1200s stripe’, each of them taking a bit from Ducati’s racing legacy.
Both motorcycles feature updated designs and innovative technology, completed by a more aggressive look. This was achieved by the Ducati stripe livery, which covers the carbon fiber fenders, tanks and seat covers. The bikes also include high grade aluminum finishes, carbon fiber belt covers and plexiglas windshields.
The ‘Monster 821 stripe’ is powered by the ‘testastretta 11°’ 821 cc engine, good for around 112hp at 9,250 rev/min. The chassis structure is similar to Ducati’s racing models, with a compact trellis frame and classic tubular sub-frame layout. This means high maneuverability and more adrenaline pumping through the rider’s veins.
On the other hand, the more powerful ‘Monster 1200 s stripe’ is a bit different, with a second generation ‘testastretta 11° ds’ 1198 cc engine powering up this beast. The engine develops 145hp at 8,750 rev/min, while the system is controlled using a ‘ride-by-wire’ electronic interface. This means more precise power delivery, thus more control.
Both of the bikes are available for purchase at any world wide Ducati boutique, whenever you decide you’re worthy.
