The 49 metre Alexander Again Superyacht

There’s always a pleasure for a shipyard, like Mondo Marine, to be invited to build multi-projects for the same owner. Being the 60th yacht the shipyard has ever built, it’s a surplus honor for the Alexander Again. The 49.15-meter long vessel was presented to its owner in June 2011.

The hand of Giorgio Vafiadis is terribly noticed here. The Greek designer is also working on “Dream”, a 106-meters super yacht. He gave the Alexander Again a sporty and beautifully-lined look, combined with style and extravagance. The main idea of this boat’s construction is one simple line that twists and splits to form one piece, showing unity and balance.

All these are noticed on the outside. But, when getting inside the yacht, the whole world changes. The beautifully simple outside changes into marvelous, an interior boasting in extravagance, luxury and nobleness. Intricate classic style, Greco-Roman and Egyptian influences, and contemporary ideas, all these suggest comfort at its climax and the atmosphere is ready to engulf everyone into its arms, adding deeply to relaxation.

The people responsible for the interior and exterior are Luca Dini, Silvia Margutti and Gabriele Tartarelli. And their influence is totally visible. Entering this floating work-of-art we get to step into the main saloon that comprises a royal set-up for dining and a lounging section. Everything is painted in beautiful tones, like black, white and gold. Walking through a small library and the main deck, we get into the owner’s suite, a large and majestically-styled spot. The furniture is inspired by André-Charles Boulle; he gave the master cabin the golden silk-drapes that extend in front of huge windows.

Including the owner, the vessel can accommodate 10 people. There are two VIP suits, one double and one twin, plus pullman front side. The upper deck contains the owner’s headquarters, with a full beam bedroom, a grand bathroom, and office area, all these in addition to a saloon. Every guest room on the yacht comes with its own bathroom.

This marvel is a mouth-shutter. And a tribute – brought to art. The yacht is suitable only for the ones that can really appreciate its true beauty.
