Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo concept unveiled

They have recently revealed the Panamera Sport Turismo concept at the Paris Motor Show. One of the most interesting facts about today’s Porsche is that they intend to bring freshness into the looks of their next cars.

This particular model will boast with an elegant, clean design, which is extremely attractive and aerodynamic. The chosen paintjob is a Liquid Metal Blue tone, as the model has been fitted with a carbon rear spoiler, ventilated front fenders and LED headlights. The Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo measures 4,950 mm in length, 1,990 mm in width and 1,401 mm in height.

The interior was designed in a minimalistic way, with Alcantara trims, metallic accents and a huge quantity of leather. The exterior mirror cameras are tied to displays which flank the digital instrument cluster. The central console is topped by a large infotainment display through which the driver and his passengers are able to use the functions of the car.

The car is propelled by a plug-in hybrid powertrain which puts together the 3.0-liter V6 engine which develops 333 HP (245 kW), a 95 HP (70 kW) electric motor and a 9.4 kWh lithium-ion battery. The total output of the Panamera Sport Turismo is a whopping 416 HP (306 kW), enabling the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than 6 seconds.

The fuel consumption has been kept low, less than 3.5 liters per 100 km, which means it can do 67.2 mpg US or 80.7 mpg UK, with emissions lower than 82 g/km. An intriguing fact is that it can go solely on electric power for more than 30 km (more than 18 miles), traveling with speeds of up to 81 mph (130 km/h).
