In order to show their respect and appreciation to the fact of having been elected the Official Festival-Time Partner of New York’s Tribeca Film Festival, IWC Schaffhausen will reportedly put a one off exquisite timepiece under the hammer at Antiquorum Auctioneers. This is also meant to bolster their affiliation with the non-profit organisation Tribeca Film Institute.
The piece they’re listing for sale is a vintage, unique Portuguese Automatic Edition “Tribeca Film Festival 2013” wristwatch boasting a Pellaton winding system, 7-day power reserve and date display. In addition, disposed upon a slate-colored dial are the watch’s display numerals and hour markers, which have in turn been superbly encrusted in rose gold. The thickness of this unique IWC piece is of around 14 mm, while the dial measures 42.3 in diameter.
The gorgeous gadget further sports a black alligator leather strap with platinum folding clasp, an 18-carat medallion with the Tribeca Film Festival logo engraved on it, additional engravings “Edition 2013” and “Unique Piece”, and ultimately 3-bar water resistance.
Availability-wise, the unique piece will reportedly be auctioned on the 10th of April 2013 with real time bids being placed online at www.antiquorum.com or by phone. Care about the final price? – Stay tuned!
