The incredible Macallan 1824 Masters Series is happy to include, starting today, two stunning new whiskies called Reflexion & No.6. Honoring the beautiful spectrum of color in Macallan’s unique single malt, this exclusive collection also accentuates the vital role of Macallan’s exceptional oak casks in the production of these fine whiskies.
Every single flavor from the Macallan 1824 Masters Series has been carefully selected by the distillery’s Master Whisky Maker, Bob Dalgarno, to take whisky lovers on a journey though dark and complex single malts. Named to commemorate the year The Macallan was established, the 1824 Masters Series celebrates rich flavors, natural color, as well as the intricacy of the decanter.
The two new decanters in this collection, Reflexion, which is priced at $1,400, and No. 6, that will set you back $4,000, will contain some of the finest whiskies ever to be released by the Scottish distillery. The exquisite style of each decanter features a custom design, inspired by the Macallan’s iconic triangle, with light-reflecting angular facets and asymmetrical influences.
The most expensive decanter, No.6, has been chosen to show off the work of masters of crystal from Lalique, who have created a piece of timeless elegance. This angular decanter features six facets and holds a complex single malt, using only first fill Spanish sherry seasoned oak casks. There’s no point in asking, but here it goes: do you fancy one?
