Swiss high-end watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre has recently revealed its latest creation: the exquisite Rendez-Vous Ivy Minute Repeater timepiece.
The piece is the first minute repeater to be created by the Swiss brand especially for the ladies and is part of a collection which took a decade to develop. Ivy was chosen as the watch’s central motif and the elegance of the lines meandering across the dial perfectly underscores its feminine qualities.
On to more technical aspects: the Rendez-Vous Ivy Minute Repeater has a 39 mm case made from 18-carat white gold and is adorned with n fewer than 548 diamonds (totaling 2.3 carats). At its heart there is the new Calibre 942A automatic movement which beats at 28,800 vph and has a 43-hour power reserve. The watch is fitted with two patented trebuchet hammers. These hammers simultaneously strike two crystal gongs connected to the sapphire crystal, producing an enhanced loudspeaker effect.
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Rendez-Vous Ivy Minute Repeater was unveiled during the recently concluded Watches&Wonders exhibition.
