As part of the ongoing collaboration established between Hublot and the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team, the Swiss luxury watch brand has released the King Power Los Angeles Lakers limited edition timepiece.
The 48mm wide watch comes with a black ceramic, titanium, and carbon fiber case, while plenty of LA Lakers-themed decorative elements certainly add to its appeal. The skeletonized dial features the team’s unmistakable colors and logo, while the rear of the movement has another Lakers logo printed on the sapphire crystal display back. An especially nice touch is the fact that one of the straps the timepiece is supplied with is made from an authentic Lakers jersey stitched to a rubber backing. Moreover, the Hublot caliber HUB 4248 automatic movement has been designed to count a maximum of 48 minutes, precisely the duration of a professional basketball match.
The Hublot King Power Los Angeles Lakers Watch will be released as part of a 50-piece limited edition, each priced at $27,900. The series will be available exclusively at the Hublot boutique in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.
