A recent study on the overall “per capita” consumption of alcohol throughout the world has placed Russia on the 4th place in terms of quantity. But this is not the main idea about Russia – it is the fact that it is the land where vodka was conceived. One of the best vodka brands in Russia and in the world as well is Stolichnaya, founded back in 1901.
Following the path they’ve been paving during all this time, with elite liquors, they have recently started a brand new series, opened by The Himalayan Edition. The exclusivity of this vodka is provided by the ingredients it was conceived and brewed from, like winter wheat from the Tambov Russian region and water from the Himalayan Langtang National Park.
The reason behind these was their purity, sourcing from some of the most untouched lands in the world. The pristine water series boasts with 40% ABV (80 proof) and a stunning crystal clarity which resembles viscous liquids.
The exquisite booze is available embaled by a Bohemian glass hand manufactured bottle, sealed with a gold plated decorative ice pick. The limited Himalayan Edition vodka will be manufactured in 300 units, each of them being packaged in an individually numbered and hand carved walnut chest, at $3,000 per package.
