Some of you might remember the launch of Crystal Yacht Cruises’ 62-guest Crystal Esprit, aimed at satisfying passengers’ every and all whims. But the renowned company is not resting on its laurels, and its engineers have recently come up with the next big thing: the Crystal Endeavor.

This vessel will be the world’s first purpose-built polar class megayacht, 600 feet (183 meters) long and featuring 100 gorgeous guest suites. It will be the most spacious yacht sailing the seven seas and its maiden voyage is scheduled for August 2018, even though the project isn’t yet sea-worthy.

Designed by Lloyd Werft Group, Crystal Endeavor will allow the bravest of us to enjoy luxurious comfort and amenities while accepting nature’s challenges and enjoying its beauties. This vessel will be Polar Code compliant, with a PC6 Polar Class designation, allowing it to cruise in Polar Regions during summer and autumn.

Featuring state-of-the-art offshore dynamic positioning technology, with computer-controlled systems, this massive yacht will automatically maintain its position with its own propellers and thrusters. The first beneficial consequence of all these high-tech systems is the fact that underwater wonders will not be harmed by utilizing anchors.

Crystal Endeavor will cruise the Arctic region and follow the route of migrating whales along the coast of the Americas and Europe to Antarctica during the winter. With a Remote Operated Vehicle, or ROV, expedition cruises will also be organized to see sunken galleons, warships and passenger ships.

Up to 200 guests may enjoy such incredible trips, accompanied by a complete range of “toys”, including two helicopters and two landing pads for aerial expeditions, as well as two, 7-person submarines, eight electric amphibious zodiacs, plus several jet skis, wave runners, kayaks, paddle boards, snorkeling and scuba equipment. That sounds like enough, right?

The designers didn’t think so, which is why we also have to mention the decompression chamber, the dive support tender and a multi-person ATV. What’s even cooler is that Crystal Endeavor will also feature SEABOBs, the world’s most technically advanced and powerful underwater scooters.

The standard guest suites will measure a minimum 400 square feet (including balcony), while the yacht’s two Owner Suites will each impress with 3,122 square feet, making them the largest luxury guest suites of any cruising vessel.

Owner Suites come with a master bedroom and two guest bedrooms, indoor and outdoor living areas, a private conservatory, garden and outdoor Jacuzzi, a private spa and gym outfitted with sauna, steam room and treatment room. Why would you ever come ashore again?
