BMW has revealed a slightly modified version of the 6-Series, which is set to be showcased at NAIAS (North American International Auto Show) in Detroit at the beginning of next year.

The changes aren’t anything substantial. The front bumper, kidney grille, and rear bumper have been slightly modified, while the headlights now have an LED main beam function as a standard feature. There are also a number of new exterior metallic paints available: Glacier Silver, Cashmere Silver, Mediterranean Blue, and Melbourne Red.

The powerplant is identical to the one from the previous model. It’s a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 which churns out 560 hp (412 kW) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft), allowing the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). Adding the optional M Driver’s Package sees the top speed increased significantly, to 189 mph (305 km/h). Another extra feature is the xDrive all-wheel drive system, which can be added for a fee and improves traction and acceleration from a standstill, while increasing the car’s weight by 165 lbs (75 kg).
