Awesome news from Aston Martin – they’ve officially revealed the brand new 2013 Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster, a stunning roadster that we’ve been waiting for a while.

Needless to say, the car looks absolutely amazing, from every corner. Aston Martin have adopted the same, extremely sexy style they’ve accustomed us with, accompanied by a super white paintjob that assorts extremely beautifully with the red interior and the matching soft top.

Under the bonnet, we can admire the already stereotypical naturally-aspirated 6.0-liter V12 engine that delivers 510 HP (380 kW) and 570 Nm (420 lb-ft) of torque. It boosts the car from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in a stunning 4.5 seconds up to a top speed of 305 km/h (190 mph). The engine delivers this high performance through two performance modes, selectable by the driver himself. There is a standard Normal mode, for quiet and relaxed journeys, and the Sport mode, for a rather agile, mode dynamic, rougher response.

The Coupé version bears a load of performance similarities with the Roadster version. The chassis is a different story, though, as it had to be revised in order to be kept together at high speeds. The list of modifications includes damper valve tuning, a brand new rear spring design and a modified rear damper set-up.

The car runs on Aston Martin Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, a perfect choice for the car’s purposes. The new Vantage Roadster has been decked with a number of carbon fiber additions in order to keep the weight as low as possible, like front splitter, rear diffuser, mirror caps, rear lamp infills and side strakes.

Orders for the 2013 Aston Martin V12 Vantage are ready to be taken, in select markets. The price per car starts at £150,000.
