The recently released Jazz Minute Repeater by Ulysse Nardin is a very impressive limited edition timepiece.
It comes with a 42mm platinum case with an AR-coated sapphire crystal and sapphire display back, and is water resistant to 30 meters. The movement is a Swiss manual-wind Ulysse Nardin in-house caliber UN-74 with a power reserve of up to 36 hours. It comes on a black leather strap with platinum folding buckle. The distinguishing feature, however, is the Jaquemarts: 18-carat gold “musicians” applied to the black onyx dial, which chime hours, quarters, and minutes (or a combination of these units).
It goes without saying that this isn’t something you see every day. It’s especially difficult to implement something as delicate in a wristwatch, making the Jazz Minute Repeater a real testament to the skill of craftsmanship of the watchmakers over at Ulysse Nardin, any more such proof was needed.
The watch will be released as a very exclusive limited edition collection numbering just 18 pieces.
