Unveiled at the 2012 Essen Motor Show, this magnificent 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL500 has been superbly tuned by Lorinser. The tuning program features exclusively visual upgrades for the moment. We might suggest that Lorinser are probably working on some performance improvements too, but let’s just stick to the point.
The beast has been fitted with new side skirts, new rear bumper, an almost unnoticeable boot lid spoiler, new grille and a front bumper with massive air intakes. The tuning specialists behind Lorinser have also widened the SL500’s wheel arches and integrated air vents into them, allowing the cool flow of air to lower the temperature of the brake disks.
Furthermore, Lorinser have also mounted a brand new set of wheels on the car alongside a bespoke exhaust system with four tail pipes. According to Lorinser, this body kit actually improves that car’s downforce on both its axles. This comes as nice news, which might affect the car’s performance as well.
