Milus, the renowned Swiss manufacturer of timepieces, has recently unveiled a wristwatch to serve as homage to its flagship creation, the historical Snow Star Instant Date, which was first introduced in the “life barter kits” of the US Navy during the Second World War. The genuine “life barter kits” used to contain two gold coins, a gold chain, a gold pendant and a Snow Star Instant Date timepiece.
Dating back to 1919, the brand, renowned for the innovative, best-selling TriRetrograde seconds display, has unveiled the Limited Edition “Snow Star Heritage Kit” in two different versions. The one especially pre-selected for the 2012 Swiss “Montre de l’Année” is the stainless steel version, coming in a superb package which also contains a silver military ID tag embellished with the Snow Star logo and a stylish set of aviation themed cufflinks.
As the collection had come to Hong Kong during the past days, a media luncheon was held at Cipriani to celebrate its arrival, with Rabeea Yeung as one of the gorgeous girls that accompanied it.
