British silversmith Grant Macdonald is planning to planning to help us celebrate Christmas, and probably New Year’s, in a unique way. He has just unveiled the Aston Martin Martini Set, right on the heels of the latest James Bond flick, Spectre.
This is a limited edition set, which even comes with a collectible sterling silver 1:30 model of the iconic DB5. Dubbeed as the Timeless 100 collection, a deliberate reference to the 100th anniversary of Aston Martin, Grant Macdonald’s exquisite Martini set could be the perfect gift for Aston Martin fans.
Both the scale model and the martini set are limited to 100 pieces each. The martini set was lined in 24k gold, and consists of two martini glasses, two olive picks and a cocktail shaker, featuring an intricate crosshatching pattern that’s reminiscent of the carbon fiber used by Aston Martin for their stylish cars.
Featuring a total of 1 kg of silver, the set reportedly takes 30 hours to handcraft, while the scale replica takes 50 hours. This unique set should not come as a surprise, especially since Grant Macdonald has been an Art of Living partner to Aston Martin since 2011. Cheers!
