Acclaimed Swiss luxury watchmaker Girard-Perregeaux has released three stunning limited edition timepieces, part of The Chamber of Wonders Collection.
First, there’s the Girard-Perregeaux 1966 Pearl of Wonders timepiece, with an 18-carat rose gold case measuring 40 mm in diameter, with an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and water resistant to 30 meters. Movement is the Swiss automatic Girard-Perregaux in-house caliber GP03300-0060 with 26 jewels, 28,800 vph, and a power reserve of 46 hours. The mainplate and bridges are drawn, chamfered, and circular-grained with Côtes de Genève decoration, while the exquisite dial is sodalite and papyrus with gold hands. This magnificent watch comes on a black alligator leather strap with stitching and an 18-carat rose gold pin buckle.
Then there’s the Terrestrial Map timepiece, very similar to the Pearl of Wonders when it comes to its size and the materials used. It also features the same Swiss automatic Girard-Perregaux in-house caliber GP03300-0060, and the black alligator leather strap with stitching and an 18-carat rose gold pin buckle. The difference is, however, in the dial, which is white jade with gold hands.
Finally, we have the New World watch, also very similar to its siblings in most aspects. The distinguishing feature here is once again the dial, which is stone marquetery, with blue and pink aventurine, calcite, and nephrite with gold hands.
Every one of these three magnificent models was released by Girard-Perregeaux as a limited edition comprising just 18 pieces.
