High-end Swiss watchmaker Hublot and renowned cigar maker Arturo Fuente have collaborated to create a limited edition timepiece called the Arturo Fuente ForbiddenX.
Of course, when it comes to the actual manufacturing of the watch it was Hublot who did all the heavy lifting, though the product does bear the unmistakable mark of a cigar company as its dial actually features real tobacco leaves, sent to Switzerland all the way from Santo Domingo. Then, the watchmakers delicately placed the leaves onto the dial using epoxy resin.
The watch houses the automatic mechanical chronograph movement HUB 1143 (there’s also a more exclusive version with tourbillion), with the elegant tone-on-tone tobacco colored calfskin strap, displaying the ForbiddenX symbol, completing the stylish look.
The Arturo Fuente ForbiddenX Hublot timepiece was launched in Dubai and is available in 4 different versions (titanium, black ceramic, King Gold, and an ultra-luxurious model with a tourbillon movement). Each piece comes in a beautiful wooden presentation box designed by Hublot.
