Fabergé is a company that creates refined beauty like no other brand and at BaselWorld 2015 they’ve unveiled three amazing timepieces, so rare and unique that they’ve instantly stole the show. We’ve already showcased the exquisite Haute Joaillerie Summer in Provence Ladies` Watch and today we’re going to show you the other two timepieces by Fabergé, the Lady Compliquée Peacock (left) and Lady Compliquée Winter (right).
Both Lady Compliquée watches will leave you breathless, featuring a stunning design with a 38 mm Platinum case and an 18kt white gold dial. The watches are powered by an Agenhor movement which consists of 242 components and 38 jewels, doing 21,600 vibrations per hour and featuring a power reserve of 50 hours.
The Winter version has a snowlike dial with lacquered blades of frost laying doing over a snowy ground but the Peacock version is even more impressive and that’s why we’re going to focus more on it. The peacock’s feathers are actually doing the retrograde function, fanning out over the space of one hour and then going back to start the next hour movement. It’s an amazing concept that will mesmerize you slowly.
Beneath the domed sapphire crystal dial of this wonderful Fabergé creation there are 31 Paraiba tourmalines and 57 tsavorites which resemble a beautiful, iridescent green and blue peacock. The dial itself is covered in 127 brilliant cut diamonds and its platinum bezel is set with 54 brilliant cut diamonds.
The whole picture is completed by a white alligator leather strap with a platinum Fabergé pin buckle, that’s just perfect for this unbelievable timepiece. The watch will be released on September 2015, but there’s no word on pricing yet.
