HALYCON

The New York-based studio Gill Schmid Design has released a couple of details about their new incredible superyacht project, called HALYCON, a marvelous vessel which comes with an overwhelming quantity of glass aboard and lots of amazing features, like a.. floating waterfall.

The project has taken elaborate design studies into consideration in an effort to take the creation process in a new direction. That’s why it comes, for instance, with floor to ceiling undulating glazing, that allows light to come in, while keeping what happens inside private. The white glass panels can be found throughout the vessel, adding to a mesmerizing overall monochromatic effect.

HALYCON also packs two glass bottomed swimming pools, which look stunning, to say the least, making this vessel even more interesting. The two swimming pool are connected by a waterfall flowing between the decks, that’s framed by a generous rectangular opening in the deck. As you can see from the photo below, the visual impact is incredible, something that could be also said about the lovely interiors of this unique vessel.

Aside from the expansive outdoor deck spaces, this superyacht will also impress you with a large owner’s suite with his and hers saunas, six guest and two VIP suites, two hull infinity jacuzzis, a casino, a front facing formal dining area with panoramic views, a sky lounge and a cocktail bar.

There’s even an expansive beach club, a gymnasium, sauna, plunge pool and several massage areas on board, not to mention a full helicopter landing area. The fully equipped tender garage should keep passengers entertained as well, if all other features won’t convince you to love this yacht. Where would you start?
