Bovet Flying Tourbillon OTTANTASEI

Haute watchmaker Bovet 1822 has teamed up once again with the renowned Italian design studio Pininfarina to create this new eye catching timepiece. Light balanced, powerful and honest about its capabilities, this exquisite watch will deliver 10 days of power reserve for a single barrel hand-wound movement – impressive, right?

Called the Bovet Flying Tourbillon OTTANTASEI, this timepiece is actually the fourth project in the Pininfarina series, that started off back in 2008. Thin, ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing, this new Pinifarina-designed watch benefits from a 44 mm case inspired by the field of aerospace, where “visibility” is the key word.

Available in two gorgeous versions, red gold, which wights in at 51.66 gr, and titanium, that stands at just 15.54 gr, this stunning timepiece has front and back sapphire crystals, with lovely interior engravings saying this piece is a limited edition, and also a Pininfarina design.

The two dials prove the designers’ unique attention to detail and their expertise, while the incredible finishes and decoration of Côtes de Genève, with Clous de Paris, add to the overall appeal of this watch. Powering up this beauty is the new 17BM03 caliber, courtesy of Bovet, which works at 18,000 vph, and it’s able to whitstand 30-meters waters, with the aforementioned power reserve.

Please note that only 86 such pieces will be delivered, with the red gold version costing CHF 180,000, while the titanium will sell for just CHF 165,000. Regardless of your choice, a black rubber strap, with blue Alcantara lining and a chic buckle will match the case and promise to stay in shape for at least 5 years.
