While Hublot certainly isn’t afraid to occasionally go for the unconventional, this particular release, called the Big Bang Broderie, is something truly special, an excellent watch for the discerning lady.
This stunning timepiece celebrates the craftsmanship of local artisans with its use of fine St. Gallen embroidery, an art the Swiss used to be as famous for in the past as they are now for their watchmaking. The striking timepiece features a skull pattern on the dial, polished gold-plated hands, and eleven tiny diamonds, one for each hour (except for 12 o’clock). The round, 18-carat yellow gold case is 41 mm in diameter and has an additional 198 diamonds totaling 1.12 carats. Finally, the bezel is carbon fiber with gold embroidery and 6 H-shaped black PVD titanium screws.
At its heart is a self-winding chronograph movement with 63 components and 21 jewels. Also, it is water resistant to 100 meters.
In addition to the gold model we’ve described here, there are also a couple of “darker” versions in silver and stainless steel with black diamonds, all equally as eye-catching and displaying the same high level workmanship.
