Hublot is no stranger to the world of motor sports, as the Swiss luxury brand can boast a partnership with Ferrari. In 2013, Hublot was the official timekeeper for Tour Auto, a well-known classic cars race held in Paris. The company has returned to the French capital again this year and in order to mark the occasion has unveiled the Classic Fusion Chrono.
It is a sporty, yet elegant watch, perfectly suitable to grace the wrist of a classic racecar driver. Made from titanium, a lightweight, but sturdy material, the watch comes with a HUB1143 self-winding mechanical Chronograph movement, comprising 280 pieces of which 59 are jewels. The timepiece has a 42-hour power reserve and is water resistant to 50 meters.
Perfectly showcasing the elegance and beauty of this piece, the satin-finished black sunray dial has vertical red, white and blue stripes going traversing it – the three colors of the French flag. The same stripes can be seen along the black perforated calfskin strap, which is sewn onto rubber with black stitching.
Just 100 numbered Tour Auto 2014 Classic Fusion Chrono watches will be released for this occasion.
