Easter is still some time away, yet that doesn’t mean shopping destinations have to leave it till the last moment to begin preparations for the celebrations. Harrods has definitely planned ahead and has prepared quite the surprise for this year.

The legendary London department store is collaborating with equally iconic artist jeweler Fabergé in order to celebrate Easter with class, with a fabulous Fabergé salon and exhibition space. Not only that, the store’s windows on Brompton Road, as well the building’s façade will be dressed in the Fabergé flag.

There will be no shortage of exquisite Fabergé works, yet undoubtedly highlight will be the Apple Blossom Egg, an original Fabergé Egg – a true, one-of-a-king masterpiece. Designed in 1901, it’s beautifully crafted in gold, diamonds and nephrite – a rare masterpiece for the first time on display in the UK and in a non-museum environment.

Also on display will be a collection of one-of-a-kind, collectible pieces designed by Parisian artist jeweler Frédéric Zaavy, while a Fabergé “Egg Bar” will offer customers the opportunity to discover the iconic eggplants, as well as personalize gold egg pendants with a message of their choice at the in-store engraving service.

Look for all of these, and much more, at Harrods from the 1st of April to the 21st.
