Explorer yachts seem to get an increasingly amount of attention these days; I guess the promise of world voyages and unrestricted global passages get people curious and interested, and the 31-meter Acala yacht is a real explorer gem. Part of Cantiere delle Marche’s Darwin Class family, this superyacht was the star of last year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

The brilliant designers from Hydro Tec received the task of imagining a sturdy yacht, capable of cruising comfortably and efficiently, while allowing passengers to enjoy class leading space and unique on-board features, and that’s how Acala came to life.

Designed to appeal to both first time buyers as well as experienced yachtsmen, Acala is able and probably willing to accommodate a company of 10 guests across five lovely guest cabins, plus 7 crew members.

South American designer Simon Hamui worked closely with the owner of this beauty to bring even more style to the yacht’s interior. Boasting a welcoming atmosphere, with touches of Italian styling and decor, this superyacht welcomes its passengers within two comfortable saloons, two VIP cabins, two twins and an impressive master suite situated forward.

The Acala yacht is both functional and stylish, featuring natural woods and leathers and being incredibly spacious for a yacht of its size. Future owners will also appreciate Acala’s beach deck or its diving station, plus a range of Seabobs for some well-deserved undersea fun. Powering up the vessel are twin Caterpilar C18 ACERT engines, enabling it to cover 5,900 nm at a very comfortable speed of 10 knots.
