The El Primero Stratos Flyback Rainbow is another installment in a series of aviator-oriented watches created by Zenith in the 1990s.

The stainless steel case measures 45.5 mm in diameter, while the face itself has a diameter of 35 mm. It is protected by an AR-coated sapphire crystal, as well as a sapphire display back, and is also water resistant to 100 meters. Finally, the bezel features a black aluminum disk.

At the heart of the timepiece there’s a Swiss automatic in-house caliber El Primero 405B, a column-wheel chronograph with flyback function. The movement has 31 jewels and beats at 36,000 vph, with a power reserve of around 50 hours. The rotor is decorated with Côtes de Genève finishing.

The black dial has a 30-minute counter done in colors which facilitate night-time reading in infrared-lit cockpits, while the Arabic numerals and the hands are covered with SuperLuminova, a photoluminescent substance.

This elegant, eye-catching timepiece comes on a stainless steel bracelet.
