Zaha Hadid

It can be easily said about Zaha Hadid that she has a vivid imagination and that’s probably the understatement of the year. Her amazing designs will change the way we look at the world forever and the good news is that they’re also making their way through another dimension from now on.

Her latest project is jaw-dropping and surprising, as Zaha Hadid has designed eight exclusive pieces of jewelry for Danish design brand Georg Jensen. Called the Lamellae capsule collection, this special line of jewelry includes geometrically-designed pieces, with rings and cuff bracelets made out of sterling silver and black rhodium-plated silver peppered with black diamonds.

You will probably notice that one of the rings is inspired by Beijing’s Wangjing Soho Complex – a project also imagined by the great Zaha Hadid. It was during the opening of this project that she met David Chu, the chairman and creative director of Georg Jensen, who was struck by Zaha’s unique creations.

Beauty always has its price, and you should know that the pieces from this collection are priced between $500 and $25,000. Unfortunately we only have photos with two of these gorgeous pieces right now.
