Hammocks are old school, cheap and not really that comfortable. Sure, they remind you of simpler times, but the Kodama Zome is the way sophisticated people chill out. This is the world’s first hanging hanging zome, designed to be much more than a regular steel structure. Its creation is the result of unique mathematical formulas and patterns penned down by structural engineer Richie Duncan.

A zome is a structure of unusual geometric properties, which combines aspects of a dome with the shapes of a polygon known as a zonohedron. Unlike the traditional zomes, which are located on the ground, Kodama Zomes can be hung from trees or stands, indoor or outdoor, allowing the users to easily let their creative minds wonder while the body enjoys supreme relaxation.

The Kodama Zome features a name inspired by the Kodama tree spirits that can be found in Japanese folklore. Each Kodama Zome includes a powder coated steel structure, outdoor grade polyester webbing, marine grade 316 stainless steel hardware, and custom mattress and cushions.

There is more than one color option to choose from, and the Sunbrella outdoor canvas upholstery fabric is part of the custom package. This is basically your ideal place for R&R, especially since you are able to fully customize it with fabrics, colors and designer patterns.
