Royal Palms Resort

Once upon a time the Royal Palms Resort and Spa was one of the most popular winter retreats in the US, an incredible hideaway set in an elegant Spanish colonial home that has been built back in 1929.

The resort itself has welcomed visitors to the desert since the winter of 1948, but as the years went by, the entire place has been transformed into one of the most luxurious resorts in the country, offering guests a vision of Spanish-inspired luxury, deep in the Valley of the Sun.

We’re willing to bet that even Santa wouldn’t mind taking a short break here and enjoy the wonderful features this resort has to offer. If not, he will have to find you there, so it’s a win-win situation, right?

Set amongst citrus grooves and exotic foliage, the Royal Palms Resort and Spa looks like a true oasis in the desert, with a gorgeous backdrop of the Camelback Mountain, and 119 old-world style rooms and suites to choose from, that will surely make you want to come back here again and again.

But the resort’s Alvadora Spa seems to be the cherry on top of all that goodness, featuring eight treatment rooms and a full service salon to get visitors to forget about everything else. There’s also a chic cocktail lounge, a lovely Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, and a breezy bar, next to the outdoor pool and hot hub, and if you want to burn some calories, the Royal Palms Resort also comes with a cool fitness center on site. Are you ready to relax?
