Namibia is one of the best spots for those who want a great experience in some of the most remote and untamed parts of Africa. Recently, Wilderness Safaris has added a touch of luxury to the entire thing, with the opening of the new Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp.

The new establishment is made up of eight en-suite tents, including one family unit, each with a shaded outdoor lounge area where guests can just kick back and relax, admiring the African wilderness. The main area also includes a lounge, bar area, dining room, library, fire pit, swimming pool, and sun deck – basically all the amenities you’d expect from a high-end resort.

But travelers don’t come all the way to Namibia just to sit by the pool and work on their tans. Thanks to its remote location the Skeleton Coast, the camp is a perfect place to discover the amazing wildlife of the Namibian desert, which is one of the world’s most remarkable ecosystems in the world. Some of the creatures you can see while taking part in the half-day or full-day game drives are elephants, gemsboks, giraffes, springboks, brown hyena, scrub hares, and even lions and rhinos.

One of the ways to get there is by taking part in a six-night ‘Fly-in Safari’ from Gane and Marshall, which starts in Windhoek and continues with two days at Etosha National Park, in South Africa. The final three nights are actually spent at the Skeleton Coast Camp, with one day dedicated to a flight over the Skeleton Coast itself.

Prices for this unique experience start at $4,800 per adult.
