The Ultra-Exclusive New Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Line

The Mercedes-Maybach S-class line is the fusion between the Mercedes-Benz S-class and the highly luxurious and exclusive Maybach.

The line is led by the stunning S 600 model, which is 5453mm long with a wheelbase of 3365mm and is powered by a V12 biturbo engine which develops 530hp and 830Nm of torque at 1900rpm. Its spacious interior offers the ultimate in luxury, with hand-stitched door trims, chrome-plated tweeter grilles, and fiber-optic cables for the ambiance lighting creating a lounge-style atmosphere discerning passengers will definitely enjoy. Furthermore, the beautiful seat-back lining, doors, and nozzle coverings are made from fine wood, while chrome and leather also feature heavily.

Given the fact that it is aimed at the very wealthiest potential customers, the Mercedes-Maybach S-class is designed to be chauffeur-driven (though it is probably a treat to drive as well). The super-rich (the only ones who can actually afford this car) are, most of the time, people who greatly value privacy, so the fact that the rear doors have no triangular windows, keeping the passenger seats away from prying eyes, is also a great selling point.

The Mercedes-Maybach S-class line, including the range-topping S 600, are set to be unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show, as well as Auto Guangzhou 2014.
