Between August 28th and September 20th, Edit Lifestyle will allow you to savor the mystical Turkish Delight Grand Bazaar shopping installation in Singapore. Inspired by the well-known 500-year-old Istanbul market, the pop-up installation will show you only the best of traditional and contemporary Turkish designs, handcrafted by Turkish artisans.

A selection of magnificent jewelry designed by Sevan Biçakçi will also be on display, which will be a first for Singapore inhabitants. Considered the ‘star jeweler’ of Turkey, Sevan Biçakçi’s Byzantine and Ottoman styled jewelry are the focal point of the most prestigious jewelry houses and private collections across the world.

Biçakçi crafts his pieces from high karat gold, sterling silver, rose or antique diamonds, after which he adds uniquely cut gemstones as a finishing touch to these gems. The techniques Biçakçi has pioneered, including metal-based painting, engraving, calligraphy, intaglio carving and micro-mosaic setting, make his work stand out as he turned a new leaf in the world of high-end fashion accessories.

Sevan Biçakçi is best known for his majestic rings, crafted with his signature reverse-intaglio technique, which involves monuments, mythological figures, animals, birds and flowers being carved in previous stones with intricate details.
