Smoking in general isn’t exactly looked upon favorably nowadays, with many venues banning it altogether in recent years. But there’s something classy about smoking a fine cigar in an elegant setting, whether it’s at a casual get-together or an informal business meeting. And as long as that element of style still exists, cigar lounges will always be popular with the elites.

With this in mind, we’ve created a list of some of the world’s most exclusive cigar clubs. These are:

10. Casa Fuente, Las Vegas

The Entertainment Capital of the World has its fair share of amazing venues dedicated to those who want to just relax in a pleasant ambiance and enjoy a nice show or try their luck at the casino. For those who mostly prefer the relaxation bit, Casa Fuente a really great destination.

Located in the Forum Shops at Caesars Mall, in the very heart of Las Vegas, the lounge is a cigar aficionado’s dream: as the only licensed Casa Fuente store in the world, visitors can have their pick from an impressive range of premium cigars, including A. Fuente, Ashton, Diamond Crown, Cuesta Rey, Fuente Fuente OpusX, and the exclusive Casa Fuente cigar.

9. Tynska Bar and Books, Prague

The capital of the Czech Republic, Prague is one of Europe’s most beautiful cities, especially thanks to the well preserved historical architecture in its Old Town. This is where you’ll also find Tynska Bar and Books.

With its British colonial accents, vaulted ceilings, copper bar, leather banquets, dark wood paneling, and even a library, the venue provides the optimal setting for a great evening, with the wide selection of whiskeys, original signature cocktails, fine wines, and of course cigars enhancing the atmosphere. Another nice touch is the fact that James Bond movies are silently screened, with 007’s charm further adding to the classy mix.

8. Redmoon Lounge, Beijing

Part of the ultra-luxurious Grand Hyatt Hotel in Beijing, Redmoon is a great place to spend a nice, relaxing evening in a pleasant, smoky ambiance.

Redmoon is actually comprised of three lounges: a wine bar, sushi bar, and cigar lounge – so there’s a little something for every guest, no matter what pleasure they want to indulge in. The Moon Mood quartet creates an enjoyable atmosphere with covers of Western songs using traditional Chinese musical instruments.

7. Crown Jewel Cigar Bar, Palm Coast, Florida

Hammock Beach Resort is the finest, most popular oceanfront destinations in Florida, but for the purposes of this list we’ll only take a closer look at the Crown Jewel Cigar Bar.

The Palm Coast venue boasts a layout and atmosphere reminiscent of the classy 19th century London cigar bars, as well as a walk-in humidor fully-stocked with brands like Ashtons, Montecristos, Padrons, in addition to a wide selection of single malt scotch, ports and cognacs.

6. Capella Bar and Cigar Lounge, Dusseldorf

The award-winning Capella Bar and Cigar Lounge, in Dusseldorf, is one of Europe’s finest establishments of this kind.

Heavily featuring high-end materials like wood, marble, and leather, the spot is designer for those who feel at home in supreme luxury. Cigar aficionados will be glad to hear there’s a selection of 124 different Cuban and Dominican cigars, all kept fresh in a walk-in humidor. On certain days of the week there’s also live soul, funk, jazz, and pop music, for those who enjoy a bit of a lively atmosphere as well.

5. Cigar Cloud Nine, Abu Dhabi

Cloud Nine is the Sheraton Abu Dhabi Hotel’s Cigar and Champagne Bar.

Open from the afternoon to the small hours of the night, it provides a great setting for those who enjoy a great cigar, as well a fine meal. In addition to the world-class cigar selection, the menu includes fresh oysters and champagne, while live piano music from Monday to Saturday creates a great ambiance, worthy of such a sophisticated establishment.

4. Club Macanudo, New York

Located in the Upper East Side of New York City, Club Macanudo is one the Big Apple’s most exclusive establishments.

Boasting elegant mahogany furniture, soft leather chairs, and comfortable sofas, Club Macanudo is a great place both for business-related meeting, but also for more casual occasions, in a supremely stylish setting. That being said, the dress code is the opposite of casual and is strictly enforced. The venue is also quite welcoming for non-smokers as well, thanks to its state-of-the-art ventilation system.

3. Monty Cristo, Dubai

Golf and cigar smoking go really well together (as much as a competitive activity can go well with smoking), in the sense that both are pursued mostly by wealthy elites. Bring this to Dubai, a city which is fast becoming one of the most luxurious places on the planet, and you get The Address Montgomerie Dubai, a fabulous golf resort with a swanky cigar lounge known as Monty Cristo.

This means that after a day on the 18-hole championship golf course, hotel guests and club members can head on over to Monty Cristo and enjoy its great selection single malts and cigars – without a doubt, time well spent.

2. The Ritz Garden Pavilion, London

Part of the Ritz Club, one of the most luxurious and exclusive private member’s club in London (and indeed the world), the Cigar Shop, Tasting Room, and Smoking Terrace fuse together to provide a sumptuous setting for those who appreciate a fine cigar.

A spectacular floor-to-ceiling humidor holds an exceptional selection of vintage Cuban and New World cigars, while the opulent furnishings exude a certain British elegance – something which makes the Garden Pavilion so much more attractive.

1. Grand Havana Room, New York

The Grand Havana Room, located in the heart of Manhattan, just across the street from the Museum of Modern Art, is a stylish club for the New York elites.

Membership is by invitation only and is also limited, so only the club is only really accessible to the elites. Members get to enjoy the glamorous interior, with mahogany paneling, blue velvet curtains, and thick leather armchairs, while they meet with friends or business partners and smoke high-quality cigars. Great views of New York are also available through the floor-to-ceiling windows, a feature which brilliantly takes advantage of the venue’s central location.

  1. If you can only show a picture of the table, the club must not be appealing to the eye. It should be the total package and not just the name or location.
