After unveiling the prototype back in 2013, Tissot is finally releasing the T-Touch Expert Solar – which is, as the name suggests, the solar-powered version of the T-Touch timepiece.

The collection is already well-established and valued for its hi-tech functionality and ease of use, so it’s no surprise that Expert Solar offers an extensive range of functions (altimeter, barometer, compass, and more) which are activated by simply touching the screen. What makes this particular timepiece special is the fact the battery gets recharged by light, so you don’t ever have to worry about the power running out on you (with an indicator also available so you are always aware of the power levels).

The T-Touch Expert Solar looks and feels great for a sport watch – lightweight and sturdy thanks to its titanium case, it is available on a titanium bracelet, a fabric strap or a rubber strap. In addition to the men’s model, there’s also one designed for ladies, featuring similar looks and specs, but with a bit of a more delicate design.

With regards to pricing, the men’s version costs between $1,150 and $1,250, while for the ladies` model prices range from $995 to $1,450.
