St Leon 10 Residence

Designed by the brilliant architects from SAOTA, this spectacular home in South Africa might just be the ultimate bachelor pad. Nestled on a cliff in the serene Bantry Bay, Cape Town, the sublime St Leon 10 Residence, as this place is called, blends a stunning contemporary design with amazing amenities and mind boggling ocean views.

An infinity pool runs alongside an amazing sunken living room, offering the ideal social area for entertaining guests or simply enjoying life at its fullest. All rooms have been specially designed to face the ocean, but the owner of this spectacular property and his or her guests will surely appreciate the lovely views of the 12 Apostle Mountains, Clifton Beaches or the Robben Island.

The back of the house is all about privacy, with no openings other than the glazed double volume entrance space – a steel framed timber screen holds off peeping-Toms, while access off the street is only possible through heavy timber gates.

The main living wing of the house includes 2 lounges, an elegant dining room and a fully-equipped kitchen, while the ground floor accommodates a generous entertainment room next to the pool, with the sunken lounge we’ve mentioned before, a back-lit onyx bar and a small wine cellar.

The gym and second guest room can also be found at this level, while a sculptural stair leads up to the second floor and bedroom levels. All that’s left is to move in!
