The Z boat might be the Perfect Vessel for a Bond Villain

Zaha Hadid’s designs need no introduction; admired and envied everywhere around the world, the company’s products seem to be enough for people to commission new outrageous ideas. The London-based art dealer and writer Kenny Schachter has contacted them for such an idea a couple of years ago, and what resulted is an 8-meter limited edition speedboat that was simply called Z boat.

Manufactured by French company Shoreteam in just 12 exclusive units, this sleek vessel will feature an asymmetrical design, sculptural in nature and practical when it comes to its seating accommodations. This futuristic piece of art looks unique, interesting, and would probably work great as a modular project as well – which also sounds like a good idea.

Considering vessels and vehicles as highly individualistic expressions of art might be somewhat of a long stretch, but the architecture and the most advanced technologies involved in this project seem to support that statement.

Apparently only the most exquisite materials and state of the art software systems and methods of fabrication have been used to transform this concept into reality, and we’re thinking it was well worth the effort. There’s no word on technical specifications, performance figures or costs of the Z-Boat, but rest assured the latter factor will make this a very exclusive product.
