Located in a virgin paradise, the Naladhu Resort is one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in the Maldives. Comprising a modest number of 19 ocean / beach houses, it assures guests privacy and a great chill-out atmosphere. The name represents the Maldivian word for “beautiful island” and the airport staff in Male will guide you towards the Naladhu launch.
The way to the complex is by boat, through an epic landscape with clear emerald lagoons and blue ocean, a 35-minute de-luxe speed-boat ride. The resort consists of 19 villas, designed in the traditional Maldivian way and colonial style. With exotic and ancient decorations all over, these houses are clearly built in a way that attracts tourists in need of chilling, and the 300-square-meters total surface is more than enough to make them feel absolutely great and invite them to enjoy the location.
There are two types of houses: 13 ocean houses, with private sundecks that unfold over the ocean and 6 beach houses, located near the lagoon, with palm trees guarding the way towards them and beautiful back gardens. They all comprise luxurious amenities like an open-air bath tight to a swimming pool, garden rain shower, dressing room, bedrooms with king-size beds, hardwood deck, dining saloon and exquisite gardens excellently taken care of.
The list of activities one can carry on is huge. From yoga on the beach to culinary experience, tasting the local dishes, discover the Ahmed Didi folklore from a local story-teller under small clusters of coconut-palms and up to swimming and scuba-diving among the exotic fish or practicing water-sports.
