Abbotswood Estate

The wonderful Abbotswood Estate is all set to be crowned as the new ‘Beckingham Palace’, as the famous pair, David and Victoria Beckham, have reportedly been inquiring about the property near Stow-on-the-Wold, in Gloucestershire.

The power couple have even taken a detailed look of this marvelous home with their children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper and after taking a look at several other properties, the two global icons seem to have their heart settled for the Grade II-listed country estate in the Cotswolds.

Currently listed as the most expensive country home for sale in Britain, Abbotswood Estate shows off beautiful gardens, incredible scenery and over 774 acres of open space. The property has a charming 10 bedroom main house, 13 cottages and another 45,000 square foot in modern farm buildings.

Have I mentioned the staggering $41 million price-tag? No !? It might seem like a lot of money, even for a couple this rich and famous, but it’s worth every single penny. The main home is 24 times the size of the typical new build in England and also includes six bathrooms and several dining and drawing rooms.

The desirable estate also shows off gardens designed by the Edwin Lutyens, two entrance lodges, stunning reception rooms, traditional farm buildings, a modern farm yard, a few lakes and many other goodies, including the River Dikler passing through the property, which is open for wild brown trout fishing.

The surrounding parks and farmland date back as far as 1253, while neighbors include the likes of Kate Moss, Bond director Sam Mendes, Alex James, Jilly Cooper and Dom Joly.
