British luxury car maker Rolls-Royce has left the entire world in awe the second it revealed the stunning Rolls-Royce 103EX concept. Designed and developed to pay homage to BMW’s centenary, this futuristic concept is the company’s unique vision for a fully autonomous luxury vehicle, featuring a hand-built chassis made from the most advanced materials and an innovative electric powertrain.

According to the British automaker, cutting-edge manufacturing technologies will allow customers to get involved right in the design process of their future Rolls-Royce in the next years, which might not seem like a lot, but they’re sure steps towards a return to the brand’s coachbuilding days; and with 21st century technologies backing up that idea, things will probably get cooler than ever.

The Rolls-Royce 103EX makes use of an electric powertrain, revealing that even this company doesn’t believe the V12 will survive anymore. Sadly, that’s probably true, which is why this exquisite sanctuary on wheels could actually benefit from this major change and deliver peace in the grandest style.

There is no steering in the Rolls Royce 103EX concept, which means spacious interiors, a sofa-like seat, and ‘Eleanor’. The latter is the company’s virtual assistant and chauffeur, advising her owners on itineraries, schedules and options before setting out towards their destination.

A transparent OLED screen at the front of the cabin offers passengers any and all information they would need, with a finely crafted analogue clock hovering in a central position above it. On the outside, a set of hand-built narrow 28″ alloys hide behind the concept’s body-lines, while the passengers enjoy the views through a glass canopy. The future is now!
