Renovo R4 Pursuit Wooden Bike

Wooden bikes can be true works of art and the latest bike from Renoro, the R4 Pursuit bike, a stiff, powerful and lightweight wooden bike, is definitely one of them. The R4 has an all-wood rear end with aluminum dropouts and derailleur hanger, laminated top tube, steel head tube inset, aluminum seat tube inset and front derailleur pulley.

The frame is custom made from select woods as chosen by the future owner and each frame is unique, thanks to the color, grain and figure of the wood. Every bike from Renovo is a perfect blend of technology and fine craftmanship and the bikemaker creates these beautiful bikes by a computer-controlled machine.

Even the smallest details of this bike are carefully taken care of. For example, the external cables have special guides and the internal cables have sealed routing. The price for this two wheel wooden masterpiece? The Renovo R4 Pursuit bike is available for $2,950.

  1. Very beautiful bikes indeed, and I’m looking forward to riding one of my own in a few months, as I placed my order this past weekend. Just one comment, though. The R$ really isn’t ‘available’ for $2,950; that’s the price for just the frame. A fully built bike with components that match the frame in quality could easily end up over $4,000.

  2. Hello Dave. Assuming you’ve ridden the Renovo bike enought to give your impression of the experience, can you please let me know what is it like to ride this particular type of bike, since I am considering of purchasing one.

    Thank you!
