One more name to put into our yacht section, Wally. Although their latest creation, Wally Ace, is smaller in size than the older Wally Island or even the Why, it surely allows one to fit cozily on any of its decks.

Its measurements set him into middle-class yachts, boasting 128 sq meters of outside deck space on two decks, 41 square meter interior saloon, while the total area of the yacht covers 282 sq meters. Wally declares that it got 30 percent more space than the closest competitor of the same length.

Its engines and sizes make it ideal for cruises from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean, without the need of any professional crew. Although it can host four crew members and six to eight guests, its length is pretty compact – 26 meters. The hull alone goes for 24 and displaces 94 tons of water at half load.

The maximum beam length measures 7 meters, while the water tank can hold 3,000 liters of water and the fuel tank – 14,000 liters. The onboard garage is also useful, being able to house a 6 meter tender. Performance-related, we found two CAT C12 diesel engines developing 385 HP at 1,800 RPM and propelling the ship with a top speed of 22 km/h (12 knots, 14 mph).

They assure a 5,000 nautical mile range at a cruise speed of 9 knots, also assisted by a gyroscopic stabilizer and innovative hull design. The project is currently at the end of construction, being almost ready for launching and testing. There are two other vessels currently in construction and will be finished by the end of 2012.
